fate's working?

one was attending a staff convention at Suntec, another was attending a meeting at Fullerton...
dinner together was at Jang Shou Korean BBQ at Esplanade...

followed by a stroll around the Esplanade enjoying the performances of the Mosaic Music Festival 2007...
passed by the ticket booth on the way home...
and...

a pair of tickets to the Phantom of the Opera!!!

Truth is that I've long given up the thought of going for the Phantom of the Opera after a zillion attempts on getting good seats via the Sistic website...

Kinda a twist of fate when we walked past the ticket booth and decided to make an enquiry on the availability of the tickets...

the feeling's kinda sweeter when things worked out by themselves... somehow...
and to top it off... a beautiful lady to watch it with...

Yeah!!! Phantom of the Opera... here I come!!!

relaxing sunday

dinner with Enn was at Lai Lai's (Liang Seah St)

followed by a round at my fav hangout spot - Kino
got the membership card and a couple of new reads
Letters from Iwo Jima by Kumiko Kakehashi and
Tuesdays with Morrie: An Old Man, a Young Man, and Life's Greatest Lesson by Mitch Albom

ended the evening at TCC sipping coffee, snacking on some dessert and yakking away on anything and everything that came into our minds.

thanks to the couple of good reads borrowed from Enn and the Kino membership card, i'm back to the good 'O reading days.
